London Film Systems
We were recently approached by London Film Systems to build their new website. Using a bespoke mini CMS system built to their requirements, we delivered a highly functional project on a very tight timescale. London Film Systems operates on a global basis and will be implementing our Internationalisation strategy in a later version of the site.
Nice Rack!
Finally our recent phased expansion to our hosting and web services plaform is nearing completion. Its been hard work, laced with a few weekend and late night sessions in a rather “stuffy” hot isle! So just what does this mean? Well we are now offering an even more robust service along with enhanced storage, cloud services and connectivity. So we finally got round to doing our own Facebook business page! Its looking pretty sharp and we have included a small data-capture block for capturing subscribers to our email updates.

We dont believe in re-selling hosting from other providers. All of our projects are carefully designed, crafted and tested, so handing over this most vital part of a project to a 3rd party host just wasn’t something we would look to entertain.

Cow Canvass Project
Working heavily in London and abroad, we have recently taken some time to invest in our Local area, offering Web Design, Website Development and Mobile Application Development in Chelmsford Essex.
One of our first local small business customers is Cow Canvass, a custom print production shop based in the busy Meadows shopping complex.
After some previously failed attempts by other companies, poor designs and loss of not insignificant amounts of money, we volunteered to meet up, take a brief and provide a homepage concept before any commitment had to be made.
Taking this approach led App4 to win the contract for the design and build of the website and some future mobile applications.
Truth
Working with one of our Design Partners in London – Socio Design, we redeveloped the website of leading global market research company Truth.
Truth already had a comprehensive and quirky website, but the whole project was developed in Flash, which proved quite a huge obstacle in gaining better search rank.
Socio tweaked the UI designs and App4 redeveloped the site utilising XHTML, CSS, lots and lots of JQuery and AJAX with a sprinkling of our Php/MySQL content management system.
We later implemented Google Analytics and Webmaster tools and are currently helping truth work towards better rankings in various search engines along with user behaviour monitoring.
Premier Baits Magazine Ad
After creating and building a new website and custom bait builder for Premier Baits we were asked to create them a magazine advert to promote its launch. We focused heavily on the new style, along with clarity through simplicity. To track an amount of smartphone activity in the Premier client base, we also inserted a custom QR code with a custom analytics tracking URL.

App4 were approached by Quote123 to design their new website and online policy application system.
We are presently still working on the project, so here’s just a sneak peak of whats going on in the design studio!

QR Code Strategy
We have been working recently with client QR codes to aid in tracking of traditional print based marketing.
QR codes provide an instant link for smartphone users to be directed to your website or any sub-page of choice.
We think the smart way to get these used is in conjunction with exclusive offers, promotions and specifically targeted landing pages. There needs to be a reason to act specifically by using your smartphone.
QR codes are hopefully going to help close the void between offline and online marketing, providing tracking albeit on a small level, which wasnt possible before.

cer Financial Android App
We are currently working on an Android application for cer Financial.
This application will provide another mechanism for interaction with the vacancies posted on the website. We are designing the application around caching and updating, this means that London commuters can still browse the listings whilst the phone is out of service. With a dedicated sync class, the phone will attempt to update its local database when the phone next comes into service via either GSM or WiFi
